Après le départ du bassiste, le charismatique Carlos Dengler, et le souvenir encore prégnant de concerts médiocres, je ne donnais pas cher de la peau d'Interpol. Le choix de signer l'album éponyme sur un label indépendant fut certainement un électrochoc et une recherche de renouveau. C'est un groupe volontaire qui remis les pendules à l'heure au Trabendo avec l'ensemble de ses fans. J'ai à nouveau savouré l'alchimie pop-dark du combo et pris la mesure de la cohérence de leur parcours.

quelle attente, on a cru qu'il viendrait jamais avec mon amie. Intense mais un peu court, mais cela reste un très bon groupe de scène.
